Idea 1: Detector Problem. To use rumors to detect important problems in the company. Rumors often arise from speculation about possible solutions to real problems so it's needed to be smart enough to listen to the focus.
Idea 2: Modify the reality. If you want to achieve a goal, the employer could make it happen, conveniently using psychology and developing a plan, a rumor can be launched and aimed to a false thing that ends up being what the employer wanted to achieve that otherwise without the rumor it would not have been possible.
Idea 3: Improve the mood in the office. Some rumors are really fun and funny. You could use little harmless gossip to improve the work environment and break down a little the cold office environment.
1) Rumors are unstable. You must use rumors carefully, because once they are said you heven't control the way in they flow, and in this way a rumor can benefit or harm you.
2) Means of spread of rumors. Despite of people think rumors can be spread in many ways. Nowadays exist multiple ways to spread a rumor such like e-mail, face to face, sms, phones, etc... This situation reforce the previous idea and make more difficult to find out the source of the rumor.
3) Rumors are difficult to destroy. We must to know that once a rumor has been started, it could be impossible to stop, and we have to valorate in which case we need to deny it or to learn to live with the rumor.

1. Rumors are useful if used with caution and taking into consideration the possible negative impact.
2. Publically refute a rumor can strengthen it even more, when in doubt, silence is the best solution.
3. Once a rumor begins to spread, it is very difficult to control its progress, do not start something you can not control.

1) Rumours don't disappear, as they continuously change and they keep the interest of those who hear them.
2) Most part of the rumours come up by accident, though some of them are spread consciously.
3) Denying the rumor isn't always the best option. It can backfire on you.
